THE BRIEF
Explore the mobile landscape and create a breakthrough app that has never been done before that’ll provide press for adidas as a leader in digital. Develop something that will get consumers closer to the products, giving them a utility they can’t live without.
THE SOLUTION
We created a tool that recognizes sneakers and provides the closest match within the current adidas Originals range. (This tool required 3D image recognition, which at this level of detail had never been done before.) People could share their favorites on Facebook, get directions to the closest adidas store or partner store, and even find out if their product is in stock by tapping into the adidas live inventory database.
